Admission consideration of applicants is based on academic performance, academic preparation, and English proficiency (for non-native English speakers). Read on for helpful Websites.
- College of Design majors: Please make sure you know about your major at the University of Minnesota
- Credit Transfer information: It is important that you contact a College of Design adviser if you completed transfer coursework directly related to your major. Just because you completed credits related to your major doesn't mean those credits will transfer to meet requirements in your University of Minnesota major.
- iSuccess: The International Student Success Program. For international students who are admitted to the U of M. This program offers a series of workshops that give you tips on succeeding in the classroom, interacting with faculty, writing for U.S. coursework, research methods and using the UM libraries, and understanding American slang. You'll also get a tour of the campus and hear from a panel of current international students.
